Costello’s Continental Cuisine, Enid’s newest fine dining establishment, is a story of passion – the passion two people have for each other and the passion they have for the restaurant business.
They met in the restaurant business. Edmund was Catherine’s first boss. From Little Rock, AR to Houston, TX they always worked together. They had the same view about the flow of a restaurant and customer satisfaction. Edmund was always in the kitchen and Catherine was the front of the house person.
Upon moving to Enid in 1981, Edmund became the executive chef at Oakwood Country Club and he and Catherine started a family. Their oldest, Patrick, was born in 1983, followed by Ryan in 1986. Catherine was a stay-at-home mom for the next six years. Edmund continued at the Country Club for 24 years. Catherine jumped back into the restaurant business becoming part of the management team at Sneaker’s Restaurant and one of the assistant managers at Applebee’s. She later worked in advertising at Enid News & Eagle.
Through the years, Edmund and Catherine had a dream of opening their own restaurant. That dream became a reality six months ago when they opened the doors of Costello’s Continental Cuisine located in Sunset Plaza. The restaurant has an eclectic atmosphere and diversified menu which includes steaks, seafood, pasta and signature chicken dishes at dinner and sandwiches, salads and homemade soups at lunch. Costello’s also features daily lunch, dinner and specialty items to give their customers something extra to choose from. A wine list featuring many selections recommended by their customers and a full-service bar round out the dining experience at Costello’s Continental Cuisine. This summer, Costello’s has opened a shaded outdoor seating area that offers live jazz Saturday evenings.

Costello’s is open for lunch Tuesday through Saturday, 11am to 2pm and dinner Tuesday through Thursday, 5pm to 9:30pm and Friday and Saturday, 5pm to 10pm.
Reservations are not required, but they are recommended on the weekend nights or if you have a large party.
